About us

How we work

At Three Bridges Therapy we understand that coming to therapy is a carefully considered step and that in so doing, a great deal of trust is placed in the therapist.

Whatever brings someone to therapy, our approach is to work alongside them with curiosity and care. We aim to deepen understanding of the challenges each client is facing and support the process of making meaningful, positive change.

Confidentiality and respect are central to how we work. Every therapist at Three Bridges is a registered member of their professional body, with thorough training, a commitment to ethical practice, and ongoing professional development to ensure the highest standards of care.

Low fee psychotherapy service

Our Low-Fee Psychotherapy Clinic is designed to make psychotherapy more affordable and accessible. We offer weekly face to face sessions with trainee psychotherapists who are completing accredited professional training, providing thoughtful and supportive care at a lower cost.

For those interested in a deeper therapeutic process, we also have limited spaces for more intensive Jungian therapy, available three times a week at reduced fees with qualified therapists.

Sessions take place at the same time each week, agreed during your initial assessment. Fees are offered on a sliding scale, from £20 per session depending on income.

The first step is an initial assessment, carried out by a senior therapist, which costs £60. This allows us to get to know you and to match you with the therapist best suited to your needs.

Types of therapy we offer

Speech therapy for stammering
Everyone who stammers has a different combination of factors that help explain his or her stammering. These can be psychological factors, communication factors, environmental factors, and speech and language factors. Stammering is therefore complex, and the experience of stammering is different for everyone. Effective therapy integrates many different  approaches including addressing negative thoughts and emotions about stammering, understanding stammering more, building communication confidence, desensitisation, and the introduction of communication skills.

Jungian analysis and therapy
Jungian therapy is a depth focused approach that explores both conscious and unconscious aspects of the mind, seeking ways of bringing a balance between these aspects. Jungian therapy pays careful attention to dreams and reveries as a way of accessing unconscious content. It can help uncover hidden patterns, deepen self-understanding, and support lasting personal growth and creative transformation.

Psychodynamic psychotherapy
Psychodynamic psychotherapy offers a safe and supportive space to explore your inner world. It can help you recognise and express your feelings, notice recurring patterns in your thoughts, emotions, and relationships, and reflect on the ways you might avoid certain experiences. By understanding underlying emotional pattern more deeply, psychodynamic psychotherapy can support meaningful and lasting change, not just relief from immediate symptoms.

Fees

The charges for therapy sessions vary between therapists, each having their own unique fee structure. For fees and bookings please contact individual therapists directly.
